OKW has brought the speed and ease of KNX connectivity to DIN rail enclosures.

Two versions of our RAILTEC-B DIN rail enclosures now feature the option of a flat KNX cover.OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX Cover

The new KNX cover is moulded from Light Grey (RAL 7035) polycarbonate (UL 94 V-0) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It is compatible with RAILTEC-B Version VI (open case) and Low Profile DIN rail enclosures: choose from either 2 or 4 modules for each version.

RAILTEC-B DIN rail enclosures are compatible with top hat TH35 DIN rails. Choose from six sizes ranging from 2-12 modules. Four sizes (2, 4, 6 and 9) offer Low Profile versions for use in equipment cabinets where space is at a premium.

Six different types of RAILTEC-B enclosures are available:OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX Cover

  • Version I: for PCB terminal blocks 5.0/5.08 mm pitch
  • Version II: for plug headers 5.0/5.08 mm pitch
  • Version III: closed case for front connectors, D-SUB connectors
  • Version IV: for PCB terminal blocks 5.0/5.08 mm pitch (1 row)
  • Version V: with knockout perforations 5.0 mm pitch
  • Version VI: open case for fitting different combinations of terminal guards and partition plate; optionally 1 or 2 connection levels

All the enclosures in the RAILTEC-B range are rated to UL 94 V-0 for flame resistance and fully insulated and protected according to the VBG 4 and IEC 529/DIN VDE 0470-1 standards.

RAILTEC-B is one of two DIN rail enclosure ranges offered by OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX CoverOKW – the other is the RAILTEC-C range which offers features and benefits including:

  • TH35, TH15 and G32 compatibility
  • snap-together modular and cut-to-fit PCB holders
  • the RAILTEC-BUS system which provides common power and data connections between multiple enclosures fitted on the same DIN rail
