A few weeks ago we told you about our new BODY-CASE wearable enclosures. Now we’ve taken it a stage further…

For the first time you can now view OKW’s wearable electronic enclosures on their own dedicated web page – making it easier to specify the cases you need. As you might expect, first and foremost is new BODY-CASE – which you can fit to any standard 18 mm watchstrap (not just the black silicone one we supply as an accessory).

Joining BODY-CASE in the wearables range are award-winning MINITEC and body-contoured ERGO-CASE.

MINITEC is testament to OKW’s expertise and experience in this field. Wearables might be new to some but we’ve been at the cutting edge for years. MINITEC won an iF Product Design Award back in 2009 and was nominated for a Designpreis Deutschland Award the next year. Its smart design, comfortable ergonomics and sheer versatility have ensured its popularity ever since – especially for applications which involve wireless remote control.

Wear it on a wrist strap, suspend it from lanyard, clip it to a belt or key ring: however you want to wear your electronics, MINITEC has a solution for you.The huge number of size, shape and colour permutations available as standard mean  very little customisation is needed to make MINITEC ready for your electronics.

In most cases, all you need to do is install the PCB (and we can do that for you if you prefer!)

ERGO-CASE is the one to specify if you need something a little larger. It dispels the myth that all wearable enclosures have to be tiny. And like all enclosures in the OKW range, it looks great. Remember, wearable devices are still very much a fashion accessory so aesthetics are critical.

Curved, comfy and capacious, ERGO-CASE is available in four sizes from wear-on-the-wrist XS (82 x 56 x 24 mm) to L (150 x 200 x 54/69 mm). Size L is also available with a transparent top panel for displays.
